    • Do I need to build the shed on a concrete slab?

    • Not necessarily, but for best installation it is recommended to either pour a concrete slab or provide a stable, level wood base.

    • Can I attach my shed to a concrete slab?

    • Yes. The floor of your Homestyles shed has been specifically designed to attach to a concrete slab. Locate the holes in the floor of your shed and attach it to the slab using Tapcon® concrete screws and follow their instructions for installation.

    • What type of ground preparation needs to be done before I build the shed?

    • It’s critical that your ground is level. The use of a concrete slab or stable, level wood base is recommended. You should avoid such areas as the bottom of a hill or other low spots where water may collect.

    • Can I run electrical, water, etc. to this shed?

    • Please follow your local building codes for electrical and plumbing for outdoor buildings.

    • Do I need to obtain a permit for this shed?

    • Always contact your local building department and/or homeowner’s association to determine the codes and requirements for sheds in your community.

    • Are accessories available for the shed?

    • Your Homestyles shed comes complete with many of the features that other companies require you to order separately. Check back frequently on http://www.homestylessheds.com for any new product updates and information.

    • What is the care and maintenance required for the shed?

    • Periodically (or as needed) wash the shed with a mild detergent and water.

    • Can I paint the roof different colors

    • No, it is not recommended to try to paint the roof.

    • Does the shed come in other sizes?

    • At this time, Homestyles Sheds are available in 4’x7’, 8’x6’, 8’x8’, 8’x10’, 10’x8’, 10’x10’, and 10’x12’. Check back frequently on www.homestylessheds.com for new product updates and information.
