Not necessarily, but for best installation it is recommended to either pour a concrete slab or provide a stable, level wood base.
Yes. The floor of your Homestyles shed has been specifically designed to attach to a concrete slab. Locate the holes in the floor of your shed and attach it to the slab using Tapcon® concrete screws and follow their instructions for installation.
It’s critical that your ground is level. The use of a concrete slab or stable, level wood base is recommended. You should avoid such areas as the bottom of a hill or other low spots where water may collect.
Please follow your local building codes for electrical and plumbing for outdoor buildings.
Always contact your local building department and/or homeowner’s association to determine the codes and requirements for sheds in your community.
Periodically (or as needed) wash the shed with a mild detergent and water.
